thereafter through Morgan Williams we were
put in contact with Professor James Mace & Professor Mark
Von Hagen of Columbia University. Even
today, I know not why, perhaps call it blind
faith, but through the auspices of these two academics, my mother
& I were invited to New York in 2003 to speak at an
International Conference on the Holodomor at Columbia University.
