F.O. in their enquiry, even though:
–Sir
Vernon Kell, founder and Director General of MI5, told US intelligence
he knew of Wostwag’s financial link with the Soviet Security
Services back in 1929.
–Mueller’s
34-year dossier from 1917 was active at the time in
1935.
– If they had,
then their conclusions may well have been different…
