1933-34, The ‘Wilderness’ Year

•Snubbed by Lloyd George (for using his name to give credence by association to Gareth’s famine allegations) and also by London Intelligentsia. •1933-34 - Worked as local reporter for Cardiff Western Mail, initially on stories relating to Welsh traditional arts & crafts,  but later interviewing Irish Prime Minister, de Valera.
